A universal gloom came over the world today as news began to circulate that multiple Grammy-winning artist, Prince, was dead.

When I opened my Facebook app for a typical morning scroll, I knew that this just had to be another death hoax, but after seeing it more and more, and the sources became more and more credible, reality set in.

The “When Doves Cry” singer was reportedly found dead by an EMT crew in an elevator.

This news comes after recent reports that the artist had canceled shows as a result of flu-like symptoms.
