FIRST LOOK! Lifetime Finally Reveals Haunting ‘Aaliyah’ Teaser Trailer

Finally! Aaliyah’s biopic is expected to air on Lifetime, November 15. This comes after a tedious debate of who would portray baby girl on screen along with much input from her family and fans alike concerning who they preferred and who they preferred not be the actress to portray the late talented R&B singer.

Previously, young beauty, Zendaya Coleman, was cast but soon pulled out, it was reported that her reason was not because of the widespread criticism that followed her casting but the fact that she wasn’t “morally okay” with doing the project.

The final cut will include Alexandra Shipp portraying the beauty on screen. Judging from the released clip, can we say that we will definitely be tuned in to see how it plays out?
