Rihanna Surprise Visit To Berlin Is Greeted With A Giant Bikini-clad Statue Of Herself

Russell Brand, once spoke on the nature of celebrity with the summation that, ‘we’re presented with the attracted spectacle of fame to distract us from our everyday lives’. And from the looks of this giant headless Rihanna statue in Berlin this would definitely be a “why” moment in our time. Not to take anything away from the artistry of Juan Sebastián Peláez the creator of this massive statue which is only part of a larger collection of other headless celebrities. It’s a very interesting concept indeed. We’re still not sure why her face was superimposed onto her boobs either?

Regardless of how we felt, RiRi clearly loved the gesture. The pop icon recently made a pilgrimage to Berlin to see the statue in person. She took to Instagram to post jokingly about her boobs.She writes

“Went to visit my boobs the biggest they’ll ever be by #JuanSebastiánPeláez at the @BerlinBiennale Kunst-Werke Institute for Contemporary Art! Too wild.”
