‘I cried with humiliation after sex because of my cult Christian upbringing, but now I’m a porn star.’

A prominent pornstar revealed her rigid upbringing, in which she was forbidden from talking to anyone outside of church or listening to non-Christian music.

Jenna Starr will be celebrating her two-year anniversary in the adult industry next month, and her videos have already received millions of views.

She has also been nominated for ‘Hottest Newcomer’ at the AVN Awards 2023 and has appeared in Playboy magazine.

Her current existence, however, was once unthinkable because a secluded childhood made her ashamed of having sex as she grew older.

“When I was a youngster, nobody talked about college and things like that because they thought it would pull you away from the Ministry of God,” she remarked exclusively to the Daily Star.

“I was to be a decent old woman who would have kids and would not have sex until I was married and I will find a man of my dreams who God gave to me.

“I will be at home and will be the most perfect wife you can be and will serve my husband and everything will be about satisfying him.

“None of these people with ideas were going to pay my expenses,” she said, adding that it was a difficult decision given her past.

“No one asked me whether I was okay during Covid when I started my business from beginning like a nice old pious woman.

“I had to wake up one day and realize that either I want to do what I want to do or I will keep worrying about becoming the woman that everyone expects me to be.”

Jenna believes that becoming a racy model was the second finest decision she had made, the first being to leave California.

Brazzers, a large porn firm, approached her in January 2022 about working on a film and her third film.

She has been an FHM cover girl and a Playmate for Playboy since then.

And her accomplishment has garnered her the respect of her family.

“I am the most financially stable and comfortable person in my family, so no one can really say anything,” Jenna, who is now based in Las Vegas, said.
