The young songstress was hot and on an upward motion to the top, that’s for sure.

Unfortunately, on the way back into the states after the filming her hit “Rock the Boat, she was victim of a tragic plane crash. Soon after, lead singer of group Destiny’s Child moved into the forefront and became who we know her as today: Queen (King) Bey!

The question has been passed a round a time or two: If Aaliyah was alive today, would Bey be Queen?
